A mini website is a site which is devoted to selling one and only one product. Either software or an ebook. You have probably seen these sites all over the internet.

They consist of a one page sales letter and a thank you page.

The sales letter is packed full of information to tell your potential customer about all the benefits of the product you are offering. This page is usually quite long as it is your one opportunity to sell your product. The sales page will have all the reasons your customer needs the product you are selling. It will also tell what the product does or how it is used with examples to emphasize the fact that your customer can’t do without it. Sometimes there will be some testimonials from satisfied customers and some bonuses for a prompt purchase. At the end of the page, the customer will have the opportunity to purchase the product with a command for them to order now!

This thank you page should be considered a second sales page.

Your thank you page is a good place for you to offer a free gift or a unannounced bonus. All the visitor has to do to get your freebie is fill out a form with their name and email address. Almost everyone will take you up on the free offer and you have just collected their information to send them even more offers.

So you have your sale, their name and email address for future sales, possibly a second or third sale and a little extra cash from your Google ads.

The beauty of this whole operation is you don’t have to be present to make sales or ship goods. It is all done electronically. Once you get traffic to your mini site, it will do all the work for you. It will sell the product, collect the money, ‘ship’ the item, make your second sales pitch, and collect the customer information. You make 100% profit from the sale.

Optimizing these mini sites for the search engines is a breeze. You only have one page to optimize. What could be easier?

PLUS… Nothing to join. You don’t have to sign up for a bunch of affiliate programs and deal with wetting up the affiliate links. You own the products you are selling. You don’t share your profits with anyone. 100% of the money from your sales goes right into your pocket!

The beauty in these Mini WebSites is that you can set them up, optimize them and then just let them work for you. It’s like having a whole staff of sales people working for your 24 hours a day and you don’t even have to pay them.

Unreported Income Letter

Unreported Income Letter

I was searching for information on an unreported income letter that I’ve received this week and I found some very useful information on the website of Joe Mastriano CPA, here’s a interesting quote from his website at www.taxproblem.org:

CP 2000 – We Are Proposing ChangesTo Your Return

If you received this notice, it means that you have omitted income from your return or the amount of income or expenses on your return does not match the amount reported to the IRS. The following pages will provide an explanation of the changes followed by a detailed listing of the items that were left off your return or did not match the amounts reported to the IRS. Respond immediately, with all the proof you have to sway them to your way of thinking. Do not shortcut your proof.

Letter 2050 – Please Call Us About Your Overdue Taxes Or Returns

If you received this notice, it means you owe tax and have ignored previous notices CP-504 or CP-523 or you have delinquent tax returns. You may receive this notice even if you have made arrangements to make installment payments or you have been placed in a “hardship” status. Do not call. Spend time now preparing the delinquent returns, and preparing your financial statements.

Letter 3016 – Preliminary Determination Letter

You have 30 days to appeal, if they turned down your request for innocent spouse relief. Go back and develop your arguments before calling for a new determination. If you can’t get the reviewer to change to your way of thinking, then file your appeal in a timely manner.

If you get IRS notices you should search and read about them on this page.

Letter 3172 – Notice Of Federal Tax Lien And Right To A Hearing

You now have a real property lien in a particular county only. Just the county listed. Not all counties you own property in. I have had clients that sold all property they had in other counties and used this money to help them negotiate better payment plans. If the lien will cause a hardship, one acceptable to the IRS, then appeal it.

Letter 3391 – 30 Day Notification Letter

The IRS says you owe for the years stated. The letter shows you what the liability is based on. Agree to it or protest. However, if you never filed the return, then file it. Use their numbers for income and expense if you feel comfortable with them. If you just want to accept their information without filing a return, ask for a signature form so you can show you signed the return they prepared. They file an SFR (substitute for return) using the 3rd party payer information they have on file. This includes the W-2′s, K-1′s, 1099′s, etc. filed under your tax ID number. Signing a return and having the IRS enter it on their system will start the SOL on collections. I have seen the IRS collect tax liabilities way beyond 10 years because the taxpayer never started the running of the collection statute. The statute starts when the taxpayer files a return that the IRS accepts.

If you have received an tax court petition, make sure to read the info on this section of our site before you move on.

I love this guy’s website, all you need to know about taxes and the IRS is available freely on his website, and he also has a comment section where he provides quick tips and advice to his users. Personally I called his secretary and arranged a one hour paid consultancy so he can go over my situation and check the documents I prepared for the IRS.

Now Anyone Can Get Accepted info CPA Networks

Getting accepted into the Cost Per Action networks is something that frustrates many marketers. That’s because so many are used to the easy acceptance that comes from most of the affiliate marketing networks. Cost Per Action networks are pickier because they want a higher quality marketer.

Still, you can get accepted! You’ll want to follow the strategies below if you are turned down (and even before that happens!) by the networks so you can begin making money from cpa offers quickly.

The first thing you need to do is select the networks you want to join. That is right — you’re going to join many. That is because there are likely a large variety of offers you want to pick from on the numerous networks. Something that is offered on one network might not be available on another CPA network. But, you should pay close attention to offers that are available in more than one CPA network. That’s because the commission may not always the same! You could discover that the same exact offer pays quite a bit more on another network.

After you have investigated which networks you want to join, go ahead and find their application form. They will likely ask you questions, such as how you intend on marketing their offers, where your main website is, how much traffic you generally get, and other questions at their discretion. These questions may be intimidating if you are new, so just answer them to the best of your ability and know that this is not the be-all end-all.

Send the application, and be prepared to wait up to a week to hear something back. Alternatively, you can just go ahead and call the Cost Per Action network to gain acceptance right away. Calling is the magic answer in many circumstances. If you are taking the time to call them and discuss things over the phone, the managers will know that you are serious about this. You will often get accepted right on the phone!

At times networks are harder to get accepted into. When that happens to you, you might want to lay out the marketing plan you have developed to promote their offers. Often laying out a solid business plan will help get you accepted!

As a last ditch effort, you can get a hold of a successful Cost Per Action affiliate so they can put in a good word for you. Normally it doesn’t come down to this, but it never hurts to make these type of contacts so you can make use of them if necessary.

If you aren’t able to join a certain Cost Per Action network right now, and you have tried everything, you will just have to keep moving and start with the networks you got into. You can always reapply later once you have more experience under your belt. They definitely will not turn down a person who is able to get results for themselves and for the company! Remember — the CPA networks are there to profit, so if you are able to help them make money they have no reason to turn you down.
